This project focuses on detecting and combating the spread of buffelgrass, an invasive species threatening local ecosystems. Using a custom vision model for image recognition, the system identifies buffelgrass with precision to aid conservation efforts. The approach has been reviewed and approved by scientists from the USGS and the Pima County Invasive Species Program.
